| RE: Mystery Shopper Posted on: 05/05/2009 09:51 Posted by: Sarah | I am setting up a group of young people to 'mystery shop' on buses - this means making journeys by bus to find out what they're like - the journey, the time, the drivers, the other passengers etc.
Young people have often remarked that bus drivers do not treat their passengers (young and old) appropriately (not helpful, are often rude, drive too fast, etc). However this is not always true.
I think its important to find exactly what's going on and I was wondering if anyone would like to help me?
But whats in it for you ... well, we will pay for your travel/you will meet new people/learn new skills/have 'volunteering' on your CV/help make bus travel better for all passengers and much more.
I am looking to recruit young volunteers aged 11-19 to work on this project for the next few months. If you are interested in getting involved /would like to know more about the project or you just want to comment on bus travel in Darlington, please e-mail me (sarah.amiss@darlington.gov.uk) or leave a comment on this website.
It would be great to hear from you !
