| Launch of Alcohol and Young People Campaign! | |
| 16 February 2010 Today the Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families has launched a major communication campaign called Why Let Drink Decide. It is aimed at delaying the age at which young people start drinking alcohol and reducing the amount they do consume if they are drinking. The campaign aims to advise young people and their families about the risks associated with alcohol, and give guidance to parents on how to broach the subject with their child. The campaign runs until March 2011. TV and radio ads will be running from January through to March, with press advertising running primarily from May onwards. Further information click here. | |
